This talk consists of three parts. In the first part, I describe some fundamental elements, from anthropological and political viewpoints, which highlight the essential importance of habits and patterns of cooperation. In the second part, I describe the main features of a cooperation setup between professionals and researchers, Cooperative Engineering.
